In reply to Your Lordship's Despatch N° 9 of the 17th of February last with its enclosure, I have the honor to transmit.

1 @ 6. the accompanying copy of a letter 8 64 date with 5 enclosures from the Treasurer, detailing for the information of Your Lordship the whole of the particulars connected, with the Revenue and Expenditure of this Colony from the 1st of September 1843 to 31st March 1848, which period I have considered better suited for exhibiting the close of the Colonial Accounts, as being complete than if those for 1847-48 were not included. My Despatch:
